The Stockings Were Hung...

Counting down the days... Only four days left!

This Weekend...The Big Snow!

Dad, Eric and Ryder were shoveling. I'm sure Ryder wasn't doing much shoveling. Fairmont got about 2 feet of snow. Mom and Cara drove in this back from Charleston on Saturday!
Ryder was being silly looking through the door while Uncle Doug cleared a path for them to leave our house.
My beautiful mom waiting to leave.
Look at how much snow Fairmont got! Cara sent me these pictures - I'm not there.

Styling and Profiling!

Mason was cheesing it up before we left for his school's Multicultural Performance last night. He's so handsome!

... and there was light!

We finally have Christmas lights outside! I was so surprised when I pulled up tonight. Doug did a good job!

Roller Skating Fun

We went to a surprise 30th birthday party for our friend Cindy on Friday night. It was an 80's themed, roller skating party. Mason had fun trying to skate, but fell many times.
Here's Mason and his friend Connor being silly.

Our Little Republican

Mason had a Christmas program at church this morning and was styling in his new tie! His little friend told him he looked like a lawyer. ;)

The Halls are Decked

Though our Christmas tree is beautiful, it's a little on the small side this year. That's what happens when you let a 5-year-old pick out the tree. It's big to him! The positive side to this: it cost a lot less this year and didn't take long to decorate!

Doug's 40th Birthday

Doug entering my parent's house as we yelled surprise. It had no clue! It was so fun. The kids attacked him with silly string.
Opening some presents. Mason and I got him a fire pit.
Eric and Maribeth - aren't they cute!?

WVU Basketball Game

Here's Mason in the car heading to the game. He had his new Mountaineer shirt on and a face tattoo. He was ready!
Mommy and Mason at the game.
And with Daddy... It was a very fun evening. WVU won 69-50 against Citadel.

My Kitchen is D-O-N-E!!!

My hardworking hubby finally finished the under-the-cabinet and over-the-cabinet lighting in the kitchen this weekend. It looks great! I'm very happy now. (The picture doesn't do it justice.)

Dear Santa...

Acting crazy while waiting in line to see Santa...
Even though he's asking for 1,000 gifts for Christmas, he got nervous and only told Santa about five things.
After the visit, he wrote a letter to Santa and colored a picture. It was a fun night at the mall!

LEAVES, LEAVES, LEAVES

I raked two HUGE piles of leaves all by myself. Our leaf blower wouldn't start. Can you tell I'm proud?
Where's Mason?

Fall Festival at Church

This is the Ring Toss and it was really hard - even for the adults.
Mason got locked in jail while he was there. He got a kick out of this.

Mason with his friend Evan.

My Drunk Coworker

He dressed as "Stacy on Fridays" for Halloween. Funny, right? That leopard print thing is a Snuggie. Little does he know I am SO busy on my day off! It was pretty funny though.

Sugar High

Getting ready to go Trick-or-Treating! He's acting silly here and wouldn't keep his tongue in his mouth for the picture!
And, here's the tongue again after lots of green candy! (This is his scary monster face.)

The scene of the crime...

Getting Ready

Mason was in full costume last night! Our church had a Halloween party and they got to dress up. He won best dressed for the kindergarten class. He was on cloud nine! Tonight is Trick-or-Treat, so I'll post more pictures later.

Hanging with Nana

We took Nana to the World Chili Cookoff this weekend. We decided that we should enter next year, because our chili is WAY better than most that we tasted. In the picture above, you'll see that Mason found his favorite booth.
We also went to the Book Festival at the Civic Center. Nana and Mason played blocks in the children's area.

The Tooth Fairy Has Visited!

Mason lost his first tooth this weekend! It was an exciting event at our house. It became loose on Saturday night at a birthday party... then it fell out on Sunday morning while he was brushing his teeth. The tooth fairy came last night and left him $5 and a note. ;)

Meet Buford!

This if Buford, the latest addition to the Deel household. Mason won him at a fishing contest at the Fall Festival on Saturday. This was his temporary home. He now has a nice, lit tank with a filter, a "No Fishing" sign, rocks, etc... it was a fun trip to Wal-Mart. He did have a brother named Ferb for about 12 hours... but Ferb died. RIP buddy... Mason performed his first funeral this evening. It was very cute. He took it like a man.

So Cool

Mason got a skull and bones tattoo at his school's Fall Festival on Saturday - on his face! He named it Jolly Roger... It took about 10 minutes of aggressive scrubbing (and alcohol!) to remove tonight. I'll let you guess whether it was rubbing alcohol or the real stuff. HA!

Having Fun at Gander Mountain

While Daddy was shopping, Mason explored the store and found a huge dog cage... so he decided to take a rest inside of it!
We couldn't find Daddy so we hunted him for a while...

Big Boy

My friend Lesli visited us last week and brought her 6-week-old little guy Will. Mason got to hold him but Will wasn't having it. ;)

After School Snack Time

I don't know if you can tell, but his yogurt was all over his face. Gotta love those Dannon Crush Cups! We have the cutest kid ever! ;)

Burning Energy Before Bedtime!

Mason really didn't want his picture taken last night. He was more focused on riding. But, he eventually accommodated.
