This past weekend, my very bestest friends from childhood/high school got together at Stonewall Jackson for the weekend. It was SO much fun - lots of good food, gossip, the spa, etc. We had a blast!

Our Little Catholic Boy
Mason got his first ash yesterday for Ash Wednesday. He displayed it for us at dinner last night. Since he desperately needs a haircut, it was sort of hard to find. ;)

Baking!
Today is Aunt Cara's birthday, so Mason baked his very first cake last night for her! He did everything by himself, but Mommy helped with measurements and the use of the oven. We just hope by the time we see Aunt Cara, there is some cake left!
Bored at the Eye Doctors
While mommy picked out new glasses, Mason tried on kid frames and was very upset when told he could not take home the Power Rangers glasses.

T-Ball Time
Mason is officially signed up for t-ball! He's excited but a little nervous - not sure what to expect. We immediately had to go to the store and buy everything a new little player needs - glove, t-ball set to practice, bat, etc. He's ready! He has also decided that when he grows up he wants to be a pediatric dentist... and a baseball coach. Fine with me!

Fun at Swim
Mason's most favorite thing in the whole world - swim class! He's doing very well - swimming completely alone for about 15 feet at a time. His best move is the back stroke.
Inauguration
I got to go with Mason's class to watch the inauguration of President Obama. It was a big event at his school - even served Obama cake!
Catching Up
It's been a while since I've been on here. Crazy January with birthdays, swim lessons, work, the SuperBowl... Here's a picture of Mason this Sunday at church. He loved so GQ. I had to share! He's the big 5 now. We're having a family party in Fairmont this year with my nephew, Kade. Pictures to come next week. Stay tuned...
